Its normal that 1st party studios handle the PS3 better than 3rd party devs.
1st party devs work ONLY on ps3.All their time and money goes EXCLUSIVELY to the PS3 which is not the case of 3rd party devs.(even with all that KZ2 took 4 years)
But yeah I agree that it would be a better idea to to use PS3 as lead platform.
But once again seems easier and cheaper for devs to start on 360 then bring it to PS3 and its normal that devs put the 360 first since it ...

So according to Sony multiplat games are dumbed down because of 360.
The funny thing is 99% multiplat games look and run better on 360.
Even former exclusives (DMC4 , Assasins Creed etc) or games that have the PS3 as lead platform look the same or look better on the 360 (Mirrors Edge , GTA4 etc)
Sony should keep quite and focus on finally getting some cash out of the PS3.

For this Xmas Sony got Res 2 and LBP as heavy hitters.Thats 2 games.
Dont tell me Mstorm , and Socom are heavy hitters.
They just dont have the cash thats all.
I dont think Sony right now have the money to do that.
Dont forget with the PS2 and PS1 Sony were the masters of marketing.Look at how powerful the "playstation" brand is.They just cant allow themselves to do such things anymore because of all the money theyre losing with the PS3.
I met just get Gears 2 on day one.I usually never buy games on day one.
theyre selling pretty good for the moment all over the world (even in Japan) so the the price is just right.
Now they have to work on their image/identity of the console.I think thats the key if they want to win over EU.The original xbox was pretty nonexistent here in EU.
At this rate (PS3) + Last Remanant bundle (360) coming out soon the 360 might just outsell the PS3 till WKC comes out.

I think you guys were right , PS3 needs JRPGS.
Tales of vesperia with a way smaller install base sold as well if not better (70 000 on 1st day) than what LBP is going to sell in its first week.
PS3 sales are decreasing and hitting record low sales.Now we know it wasnt because people were waiting for LBP bundles.
Only solution = jrpgs and a steady stream of good games.
Thats some very good sales for GTA4.
